Loong Phoong is an all Australian family owned seafood processing and distribution company. We have been trading for 30 years and we’ve established a reputation for our wide range of high quality, affordable seafood.
Our Story
The owner of Loong Phoong, Donald Tang, arrived in Australia in the mid 1980s as a refugee from the Vietnam War.
His dream of opening up his own small business is the dream of many hard-working immigrants and came to fruition over the ensuing years.
Our Seafood Processing Plant
Recently in 2020, we established our own seafood processing plant in Southern Vietnam so that we became our own wholesaler, from which other wholesalers can now also purchase. This means we can more closely monitor the quality of our seafood and retain our very high standards.

Loong Phoong caters for our South Australian seafood lovers through a retail outlet at Thebarton. We offer an extensive range of seafood including fish, marinara and prawns, as well as condiments and dried goods to complement our seafood. We also supply fresh and frozen seafood to grocers and restaurants across Australia.
The Fresh Prawns
Our state of the art seafood facility processes fresh prawns from aquaculture farms all over Vietnam to deliver to us in South Australia, which enables us to provide competitive pricing and a high level of quality control.
